Lehigh Mining & Navigation has welcomed Dan Weckerly to its staff as Public Relations Director. He will advise LM&N clients on brand building through effective use of media relations.
Weckerly has overseen communications across industries that include insurance, healthcare, tech, financial services and travel-tourism. The Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals recognized his writing on a national level, where his skillset earned distinction alongside such brands as Hasbro, Bank of America and Adobe.
Closer to home, he received the Francis X. Long award for excellence in writing from the Philadelphia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), where he is currently on the board of directors. He has a B.A. in English from St. Joseph’s University and lives in Montgomery County, PA.
LM&N has also promoted Donna Reynolds and Joe Iacovella, recognizing their increased roles in creating value to users of LM&N’s creative, marketing and PR services. Reynolds is now Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer. Iacovella’s new title is Vice President, Client Services.
Reynolds’ new role leverages her 10+ years in media sales and client relationship-building. She will be cultivating new business throughout eastern Pennsylvania, including the Philadelphia and New York markets. Reynolds received her Bachelor of Arts in speech communication with a minor in public relations from Kutztown University.
Iacovella, a Penn State grad, has been with LM&N for 12 years, providing strategic guidance to B2B and B2C industries that include medical devices, musical instrument manufacturing, consumer electronics and destination travel.
“Adding Dan’s strengths to the core services offered by Lehigh Mining & Navigation is great news for our clients, both existing and future,’ says Denis Aumiller, LM&N Managing Director. “His experience, drive and creative approach make him a true asset, and we are pleased to welcome him to the agency.
Aumiller continues: “The recognition that has come to Donna and Joe speaks highly of their skills in adding demonstrable value to our customers. We are very proud of their accomplishments on behalf of LM&N and look forward to more success as their careers with us continue to progress.”
