BETHLEHEM, Pa. (July 14, 2014) – It’s accurate to say that Lehigh Valley’s inaugural World Cup Viewing Party and Soccer Festival was an enormous success. The event attracted an estimated 50,000 people and gained attention in the national spotlight, including live look-ins during ESPN’s national broadcast of the USA vs. Ghana game and being featured by USA Today as one of the best viewing parties in America. The response from the community was so overwhelming that the organizing committee extended the viewing parties from 26 games (over two weekends) to include all 56 games in the World Cup.
