Versum Materials was born when the Materials Technology division of Air Products broke away to become a standalone company. They are a $2 billion global supplier of coatings, epoxies and additives that make bridges corrosion-resistant, gym floors shine longer and digital devices more advanced. In short, they develop the materials that help make their customers’ products work better. What they couldn’t develop on their own was a name and identity. We created the name out of a Latin word meaning “toward.” The logo was designed to connote action, and overall graphic identity has a forward-looking contemporary style. Our collateral, trade show booth and website helped launch Versum Materials and make an impact heard around the planet.
